Expatriates' Page

Singapore:

Every year,Singapore  receives thousands of foreigners from all over the globe, from every corner of the Eastern or Western hemispheres.

Apart  from the tourists, many of these expatriates come for  work, employment or as investors bringing families with them.

For such new comers, their primarily concern is accommodation and lodgings and as they are able to take care of their F & B needs round the clock, we come in to serve or source the roofs over their heads.

Basically, we would look into their expectations in terms of requirements, location and budgets.

Location for the Expats is primary concern as they may feel more comfortable with staying close with their countrymen or near their place of work/children’s schools.

Singapore is divided into 27districts –and each district offers different options.

Popular areas as Central(D9-D11) covers Orchard Road Bukit Timah, Holland Village;  Eastern region (D15-D16) includes East Coast and Tanjong Rhu.

Central is more expensive and luxurious living with main shopping belts and all night activities. Properties in this area comprise high-rise condominiums and latest developments(eg Four Seasons Park, Cairnhill Plaza or Richmond Park)

1 --LIST YOUR REQUIREMENTS, SEND IT THROUGH MY EMAIL, WE WILL GET IT READY BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL

Some  expats prefer more quiet outdoor activities and that we find in or around BukitTimah ( with nature reserve) with more landed properties. Many of the affluent Singaporeans  stay here. Holland V(illage) has many restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping amenities with international cuisine eg sushi, Mexican burritos, starbucks. We also have the bioscience/biopolis centre around here.

Transportation is problem-free in Singapore and getting around the island is easy by buses, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) or taxis; however, another option is your own vehicles where there are ample parking facilities.

2 – SO DEPENDING ON YOUR HOME–CHOOSE YOUR  OWN TRANSPORT

D15-D16 is nearer to the Airport and is a short distance drive to the Central Business District (CBD); here you have many condos and the popular East Coast shore-line is a week-ends attractions. Malay Village heritage, quaint shops, cafes that exude an aura of nostalgic Singapore e g. Joo Chiat area. Condominiums with good sea-view are Bayshore, Costal del Sol and further away will be Water Place, Pebble Bay or Costa Rhu.

Another factor to consider is education for the kids – our education system is spread through primary level, secondary, junior college and university stage; however, there are also a number of international schools e.g Canadian, Australian, American, German as well as Indian.

3—FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO START BUSINESS—WE  HAVE COMMERCIAL UNITS PER YOUR REQUIREMENT

Many  international students are here on their own- attending to well-known private educational institutions. They also find accommodations convenient and easily accessible to their schools/universities. STUDENTS LODGINGS- EMAIL US
